Attendance & Missed Lessons Policy

Lessons are offered in-person at the Studio and online.

Please provide at least 24 hours advance notice for canceled lessons. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours prior notice will be forfeit, except by the teacher’s discretion.

Lessons canceled by the teacher will be rescheduled. Whenever possible, as much notice will be provided.

Eligible lessons may be rescheduled to an available Flex Lesson spot.

Health & Wellness Policy

In-person lessons are not available to students experiencing symptoms of infection (cold, flu, COVID-19, etc). Please contact the Studio to either arrange an online lesson or rescheduled lesson.

Please wash or sanitize your hands when you arrive and before you leave.

Face masks and shields are optional.

High touch surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected frequently between lessons.

HEPA air filters are in place throughout the Studio.

Should a student show symptoms of illness during a lesson or Studio event, they will be isolated and their parents contacted to pick them up.

In the event of a government-mandated closure, in-person lessons and events will be moved online.

Lesson Termination Policy

One month’s written notice is required to terminate lessons prior to the end of the contracted term or one month’s tuition in lieu of notice. If you discontinue lessons on or after May 1, the Studio will retain the remainder of the tuition for the school year as an Early Cancellation Fee.

The Studio reserves the right to deny an application or terminate a student’s registration due to lack of student progress as a result of poor practice habits and/or attitude, abusive behaviour, unpaid tuition, or if the teacher feels the student is better suited to another teacher, instrument or activity. Unused tuition cheques will be returned or destroyed.
