At yesterday's ARMTA Calgary Honours' Recital, my colleagues and I were commenting on how January really started with a bang. I think we're looking at the busy months ahead with equal parts excitement and trepidation.

• Sat., Apr. 26 - Sat., May 10: Calgary APTA Festival, Renfrew Baptist Church, 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM.
• Sun., May 4: ARMTA Calgary Presents Christopher Norton, Renfrew Baptist Church, Masterclasses in the afternoon followed by a Students & Teachers' Dinner with Christopher Norton and concert at 7:30 pm.
• Fri., May 9 & Sat., May 10: Royal Conservatory of Music Theory Examinations
• Sat., May 10: Conservatory Canada Theory Examinations
• Sun., May 25: ARMTA Calgary Presents Outstanding Students Recital, Knox Presbyterian Church, 5:00 PM
• Sun., June 1 - Mon., June 30: Conservatory Canada Practical Examinations
• Mon., June 9 - Sat., June 28: Royal Conservatory of Music Practical Examinations

I'll update the list once I find out about the ARMTA Student Recitals and CASSA Student Masterclasses.

** Volunteers are needed to help out at Calgary Kiwanis Music Festival, High River & District Lions Music Festival and the Calgary APTA Festival, especially in the evenings. If you like music and can spare 2 - 3 hours to help as a greeter, secretary or host, please visit the festival websites to contact the organizers. **
