Friday Fun Link #32
Thanks to my friends Trudi and Nicola (fellow music teachers) for this one. A witty comedian does a musical sketch on Pachelbel's Canon in D.
I couldn't stop laughing.

Happy Holidays from Musespeak.com
Both teachers and students are counting the days before Christmas Break. Yes - us teachers are really looking forward to not teaching for a couple of weeks. Some of the administrative tasks can't be put off for that long, but at least they can be crammed into a couple of days, leaving plenty of time to catch up with family and friends.
My break doesn't begin until late tomorrow evening because of teaching an a Christmas party gig. I can't wait till I'm done (did I say that already?).
Maestro and I would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays.

Terrific Thursday Link #7
Rubberfaces.com indirectly has something to do with music. Thanks to my student Emma for this one. I must say that I took great pleasure in giving Simon from American Idol a really long nose.

Friday Fun Link #31
This is the beginning of crazy season for musicians and music teachers. Between recitals, Christmas gigs and gearing up for exams, it's a non-stop roller coaster.
Melodies can also be like a roller coaster. I found this funky link that allows you to shape a melody and hear how it sounds. Happy exploring!
