Between ARMTA committee work, Christmas gigs, teaching, looking for and getting new room-mates and car hunting, there hasn't been much time for website updates. This is my first chance to make some changes:

Music has journeyed with me through several career changes, from Arts Administration to Corporate Communications and to running my private studio, where I teach piano and theory, play at weddings and parties and write articles on the side. I have my B.A. (Music), B. Mgt., ARCT (Piano Performance) and am currently the First Vice President of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers' Association (Calgary Branch). When I'm not at the piano, I am practicing my sword cuts and kata for Iaido and Niten Ichi Ryu. When relieved of his teaching assistant duties, Maestro craves the next workday, walk, adventure or opportunity to play the bongos.
