October 2006 Musical Events in Calgary

Here are some of the cultural events scheduled for the upcoming month:

October 1 Mount Royal Kantorei and the Mount Royal Arioso choir present Come Ye, Thankful People - a special fall concert to benefit the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank, featuring
special guests the Heebee-jeebees, along with a number of Calgary’s fine performing groups and soloists. 2:30 PM

October 1 Instrumental Society of Calgary
presents Bell'Arte Strings. The "brat pack" of the CPO joins forces to create a new and vibrant ensemble, BELL'ARTE STRINGS, committed to transforming the CPO excellence

October 12 - 14 Alberta Ballet begins their 40th anniversary season with Ruby Nights, "an evening that celebrates key influences in Alberta Ballet’s artistic Heritage". 8:00 PM @ Jubilee Auditorium. Tickets: $42 - $83 available through Ticketmaster or 777.0000.
